Position Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and processing payroll and various functions that coincide including posting payroll entries for accounting purposes.

Job Responsibilities Include

·        Review time sheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies

·        Prepares and process weekly, semi, and monthly commission payrolls in ADP Workforce Now, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.

·        Updates payroll changes and verifies all time off request have been approved

·        Maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

·        Makes all payroll journal entries including 401k into CDK (DMS)

·        Maintains and updates mapping of the general ledger

·        Pulls pay data and reports for accounting and other departments

·        Assists and provides service to employees for payroll related inquiries

Requirements

·        High School Diploma

·        MS Office skills

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Ability to work independently and as a team, multi-task, and meet payroll deadlines

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·        1-2 years of payroll experience preferred, but not required

·        ADP experience preferred, but not required

Pay Range: $47,000-57,000 (annually)
