Job Title: Inventory Analyst I - Material Planning and Control

Duration: 9 months

Location: Dubuque, IA 52001

Job Type: Contract (40 hrs. a week)

Pay Range: $20.42/hr

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to manage inventory audits, ensure accuracy, and support inventory processes in a manufacturing setting. This role involves significant use of SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint for data entry, reporting, and analysis, as well as collaboration with on-floor inventory verification.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inventory audits and analyze results for accuracy.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory issues.
• Oversee cycle counts and enter results into SAP.
• Collaborate with and provide direction to cycle counters and junior staff.
• Prepare inventory reports and support process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma with 1 years of inventory experience in manufacturing; degree preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP (or similar systems), Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in inventory management, root cause analysis, and data reporting.
• Ability to work 50% on the manufacturing floor for verification tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of warehouse operations (e.g., cycle counts, shipping/receiving).
