Project Manager III
Seeking a Business Lead to support the Head of Country for Brazil, whose responsibilities include payments and business strategy and execution of those initiatives across all market-facing teams.
This person will partner closely with our Head of Brazil to build and manage projects to help WhatsApp through a rapid growth phase, manage preparation for meetings and presentations, and own strategic initiatives critical to the success of the business.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, outstanding communicator, experienced in working with senior leadership, and has a proven track record of excellence in driving complex cross-functional initiatives. She or he must thrive as a leader of cross-functional teams and be effective at initiating new programs in both startups and large organizations. This person will drive projects forward and must have a proven ability to simplify complex concepts, and develop and scale operational processes. Experience with and an interest in technology is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic internal initiatives based on team priorities
- Partner with senior leadership to advance projects and processes that enable teams to operate efficiently
- Establish a governance with other business teams to ensure success of goals, anticipating potential blockers and exploring opportunities
- Manage internal communications and meetings, including business meetings and reviews
- Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional groups and stakeholders within and outside of WhatsApp
- Lead preparation and briefings for external meetings and trips
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 years professional experience in project management, business, marketing or a related field.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated track record of achieving operational excellence by introducing processes and systems
