Job Description
Family owned and operated for over 40 years, Beard’s Diamonds is looking for an outgoing, dynamic and professional full-time sales associate to join our amazing team.
Serving the Jacksonville community, Beard’s Diamonds specializes in diamond and bridal jewelry sales. We carry designer brands including, but not limited to, Tacori, Verragio, Christopher Designs, Sylvie, Amden, Crown and Gabriel & Co.
Job Overview
Seeking a professional team member pursuing a long-term career in the jewelry industry. Ideal candidate will be able to provide an exceptional sales and customer service experience to our clients within our comfortable, stress free and beautiful showroom. Be part of a tenured staff who truly work as a team. Other duties include daily set-up and closing procedures, implementing jewelry repair take-in & pick-up.
GIA training available and provided by Beard's. Additional opportunities include marketing, inventory management, event management, and B2B operations.
Skills
Exceptional customer service, desire to continually learn and develop product knowledge. Personable, enthusiastic and enjoy assisting our clients with finding and purchasing the perfect piece of jewelry.
Applicants should have strong communication skills, be detail oriented and have the ability to work as a team member as well as independently with minimal supervision. Be able to multi-task and prioritize your responsibilities.
Basic computer skills and effectively be able to work with POS and Outlook software.
Health Care, Sick Leave, Vacation, Holiday Pay-Available after 90-day probationary period.
Pay Scale: Exceptional Pay Scale / Starting at $20-$25 per hour based on level of experience
Hours of operation: Monday –Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm Saturday - 10:00am to 6:00pm. Sunday – 11:00 – 4:00pm
