What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician--Emergency Department position at BEATRICE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL & HEALTH CENTER?
Job Duties:
Provide the full range of health care services for the Emergency Room which are customary within the regional health care community by practitioners specializing in Emergency Medicine. Maintain working knowledge of the requirements of the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act, and support compliance with that Act. Keep proper and complete medical and related records, on a timely basis, of services provided as required by Employer and provide necessary and accurate billing information and supporting records in accordance with policies and procedures and the requirements of third-party payors. Must be comfortable providing care for patients of all ages at a Critical Access Hospital working collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Licensed as a Physician in the State of Nebraska by employment. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required. Must be ATLS, ACLS, PALS certified, NRP recommended.
Shift Schedule:
On-Call/PRN; variable hours/shifts; as needed
