What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grader - Cards Leve 1 position at Beckett?
Beckett is seeking passionate and highly knowledgeable collectible card enthusiasts to join our fast-growing team. Successful candidates will have a good core knowledge of either sports cards, non-sports cards, or gaming and TCG's. As well as having a basic understanding of the BGS grading scale and grading standards. Able to spot various counterfeits and can detect basic card tampering/alterations. Must have great work ethic, be coachable, take constructive criticism well, be reliable, trustworthy, and work well with co-workers. Able to handle repetitive and monotonous jobs/tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Become Familiar with the BGS grading standards and grading scales.
- Train daily on how to spot counterfeit and tampered/altered cards.
- Grade required daily goal of sport, non-sports, gaming, and trading card games.
- Assist in completing corporate/project orders.
- Stay up to date on latest news, trends, and insights relevant to the hobby/market.
- Thrive in a team environment with the ability to work independently
- Other duties as assigned*
Requirements:
- 1 years of card grader experience
- Card knowledge in either sports cards, non-sport cards, or gaming and TCG's
- Understanding of the BGS grading scale and standards
- Ability to spot counterfeits and to detect numerous tampered/altered cards
- Knowledge of how to properly use jeweler’s loupe and decimal/fractional rulers
- Meticulous with exceptional attention to detail in proper card handling and care
- Ability to concentrate on repetitive precision tasks
- Relocation to Plano if applicable
- Highschool diploma or equivalent*
- Must be 18 or older*
