Packager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. The Packager will work in a warehouse environment, utilizing various hand tools and equipment, including forklifts, to assemble and fabricate packaging materials.

Duties

• Assemble packaging materials according to specifications and guidelines.
• Operate hand tools and machinery to package products efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols as required by the company.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize packaging processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Utilize logic controllers for automated packaging processes as needed.
• Assist in the movement of packaged goods within the warehouse using forklifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a packaging or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Be able to physically handle manual labor for several hours during a shift.
• Proficient in using hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
• Be able to meet quota on packaging on a consistent basis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.61 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Rotating shift
• Weekends as needed
