As the Business Office Manager, you will oversee the business office staff, company policies and procedures related to billing, accounts receivable, census processing, and payroll in our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Business Office Manager Key Duties:
- Assist with collecting documentation for Medicaid applicants.
- Meet the residents and families to discuss financial obligations.
- Assist with the insurance authorization process.
- Partner with Admissions to ensure agreements are executed.
- Ability to follow professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and DOH standards.
- Maintain HIPPA privacy, security, and confidentiality standards.
- Must have an A.A.S degree in Business, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO process.
- Two years of business office experience working in a Skilled Nursing facility or healthcare field.
- Proficient in budgeting and fiscal management.
