Tire and Lube Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively repairing and servicing numerous types of heavy equipment and vehicles in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- The Tire and Lube Technician (Heavy Equipment) is responsible for fueling, servicing, and maintaining heavy equipment
- Perform daily service on various jobsites to include lubricating of heavy construction equipment, which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluids and greasing
- Prior experience working on heavy equipment is preferred including diagnostics, maintenance and repair of diesel and gas engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems on heavy equipment
- Familiarity with tools and procedures necessary for diagnosis and repair of heavy construction equipment and trucks
- Possess problem solving skills essential to the diagnostics and repair of heavy construction and support equipment
- Routine inspection, and maintenance of heavy equipment and support equipment including gas and diesel engines, transmissions and drives including hydraulic and electrical systems
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Detail-oriented with the ability to process information quickly and accurately
- Strong work ethics – On time to work every day
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Welding skills preferred
