SCHEDULE
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Supervise all phases of production, quality control, inventory and maintenance in the yard.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive desired goals/outcomes.
- Identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement continuous improvements.
- Participate in all phases of the employee life cycle from selection to separation.
- Supervise day-to-day activities and performance of staff.
- Drive superior results by motivating staff, and providing access to the necessary tools, resources, and training required.
- Address performance concerns & enforce company policies and procedures with training, coaching, and following disciplinary procedures when needed.
- Oversee and complete operational, administrative, and HR paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with safety processes & procedures.
- Other responsibilities as required.
- 2 years of supervisory experience or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to connect and build rapport and relationships with associates and external customers at all levels.
- Work efficiently with time management and organizational skills with follow-up and follow-through.
- Manage through a problem and think and make decisions independently.
- Drive process improvement and lead change.
- Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility for running the operation with a sense of urgency and independence.
- Strong written/oral communication skills.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Able to perform basic yard maintenance requirements (Electrical, hydraulics, and welding are a plus).
