Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic IV (A&P Required)
LOCATION:
This position is on Florida’s Paradise Coast in Naples, FL (KAPF). The airport and maintenance facilities are located 2 miles from the Gulf Coast beach and with the beautiful weather our hangar door stays open year-round! And, if that’s not enough, Florida has no state income tax.
OBJECTIVE: To inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft following manufacturers and FAA requirements.

Our client is an authorized Limited Cirrus Repair Center and operates a flight school supporting a fleet of 15 aircraft ranging from Cessna 172’s to Cirrus SR22T’s.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of aircraft, ensuring compliance with manufacturers' and FAA guidelines and regulations.
· Repair aircraft following manufacturers' and FAA guidelines and regulations, ensuring aircraft are returned to service in an airworthy condition.
· Prepare documentation, repair and maintenance records, and other required paperwork following regulations and procedures.
· Maintain and document work activity in the Work Management System (EBIS).
· Research parts needed for aircraft and complete parts request forms.
· Ensure airworthiness of aircraft, items, or components per FAA procedures; sign off and return aircraft to service safely.
· Communicate courteously and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, and others.
· Comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
· Assist in estimating time and material costs for jobs; discuss estimates with Director of Maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- F.A.A. certification (Airframe and Powerplant) in aircraft maintenance and repair
- Minimum of three years of previous related experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 lbs) and perform tasks that require physical strength and endurance)
- Good vision to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems and components
- Ability to hear and interpret auditory signals and warnings in a noisy environment
- Must possess sufficient tools to perform job duties effectively
- Flight School Maintenance is desired, but not required
- Avionics troubleshooting and installation are desired, but not required
