Overview
Belle Chasse Academy is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Manager for our Type II charter school. This is a 12-month, full-time position.
Must be familiar with:
- LDOE filing requirements.
- Maintenance of Effort.
- Annual Financial Report (AFR)
- Grant reimbursements
- Annual budget preparations and revisions
- Blackbaud Financial Edge software
- Manage multiple project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion of projects.
Requirements
- Clear criminal record.
- 4-year accounting degree.
- CPA preferred, but not required.
- LASBO certification, preferred but not required.
- Min. 3-years government accounting, grant management, and fiscal management.
- Ability to analyze financial data, including profit loss statements.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- After school
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Belle Chasse, LA 70037: Relocate before starting work (Required)
