ELA Interventionist: Part-time: Grades 7-8

Windham Northeast Supervisory Union is seeking a literacy interventionist to support 7th and 8th grade students in Bellows Falls Middle School. This is an opportunity to join a growing team of secondary literacy interventionists who are committed to building a developmentally-appropriate instructional model to support the unique needs of adolescent, emergent readers. Responsibilities: ~work collaboratively with dynamic teams of teachers and interventionists to design and deliver evidence-based instruction both in and out of the classroom environment ~help to administer benchmark and diagnostic assessments and work with teams to analyze results ~monitor and track student progress Strong background in the Science of Reading and data analysis preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Bachelors, eligible for a Vermont secondary license Experience working with adolescents is preferred.
