Overview
Benson Stone Company is looking for an employee to handle product in our our outdoor material yards and in our warehouses. This role is responsible for unloading, unpacking, inspecting, and organizing product received, preparing product for pick-up or delivery, and loading customer pickups. We use hand trucks and forklifts for heavy lifting, but some hands-on lifting & maneuvering is also required.
This is a full-time day shift position, working from 7:30am to 4:00pm. We're closed on Sundays and most major holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill customer orders in the material yards, ensuring that the products and amounts are loaded correctly according to the order.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and organize materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other duties as required by the warehouse supervisor or management.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to safety lift and maneuver products and materials up to 100lb
- Comfortable working outdoors through all seasons
- Strong attention to detail & organization skills
- Great time management with a steady work pace
- Flexibility to lend a hand in other departments on occasion
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable with good attendance record
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
