Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and possess excellent leadership and project management skills.
As a Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant facilities. Your responsibilities include:
- Global Standards and Concepts: Implement and maintain global standards and concepts across our facilities.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee building infrastructure maintenance and appropriate signposting within the plant.
- Plant Expansion Support: Support the planning process for plant expansions and oversee construction works.
- Energy Efficiency and Services: Ensure environmentally friendly, cost-optimized energy standards, as well as electro-technical and utility services.
- Cost Savings: Evaluate cost-saving measures and implement them effectively.
- Fire Protection: Lead fire protection inspections and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
- Office Furnishing and Removals: Handle office removals and ensure appropriate office furnishing.
- Property Evaluations: Arrange property evaluations and calculate financial profitability according to FM criteria.
- Budget and Quality Management: Monitor and optimize budgets, deadlines, and quality management related to facilities.
- Promoting Culture: Promotes a respectful work environment and recruits, develops, and retains human resources to maintain a qualified, motivated, and productive workforce. Leads by example and lives up to the company mission, values, and global leadership principles. Uses standard HR tools e.g. the appraisal process to provide regular feedback and agree upon tasks and goals with respective employees.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in medium to large plants
- Experienced with new plant set-up
- Experienced leadership skills

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
