Bentley Bros has been in business since 1925. We are a family owned business, proud of our heritage and excited to build our future. We are looking for an on the road, municipal sales person in our Brockport office to join our growing brand.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Achieve maximum sales profitability, volume and growth by effectively selling products and services offered by Bentley Bros.
- Identify and establish relationships with businesses and municipalities for both new and existing accounts.
- Receive, process and respond to all customer requests promptly and accurately
- Enter customer orders.
- Receive, process, and resolve all customer complaints promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Complete customer requests for quotes in a timely manner.
- Have a solid working knowledge of Kubota products and other supporting brands that we offer as well as keep up with current industry developments.
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer information.
- Incorporate total quality and continuous improvement principles into daily work routine.
- Communicate professionally with customers as a representative of Bentley Bros. via phone or written communication (e-mail).
- Realistically plan and organize workload on a daily basis resulting in an accurate forecast of customer needs.
- Report to the Sales Manager regularly, both formally and informally.
Job Qualifications:
- 2 years sales experience, preferably in the automotive or tractor industries
- 3-5 years customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer literate - Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to handle frequent internal and external contacts with considerable diplomacy and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a general office environment
- Ability to plan and prioritize constantly changing workload
