The Concrete Laborer will contribute to a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. *Responsibilities* - Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures and surfaces. - Operate concrete mixers and pumps to ensure efficient material handling. - Perform flooring installation tasks, including tile laying and hardscape projects. - Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete construction tasks. - Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during operations. - Support construction estimating efforts by providing input on material needs and project timelines. *Skills* - Proficiency in flooring installation techniques, including tile laying. - Experience with concrete mixing and pumping equipment. - Familiarity with hardscape installation processes. - Ability to operate power tools safely in a construction environment. - Basic carpentry skills are a plus for collaborating with other trades. - Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. - Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes on all projects. - Effective communication skills for teamwork on the job site.
