Working closely with policyholders, insurance representatives, and contractors, we restore textiles, electronics, art—and most importantly—peace of mind after fires, floods, storms, and other disasters.
About the Role
We have an immediate opening for an Operational Manager to join our senior management team and be the right-hand person to the General Manager. This individual will oversee the overall operations of our Virginia-based plants, ensuring they remain fully operational. This is a seven-day operation, and we need a dedicated professional willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
Responsibilities
CRDN Responsibilities
- Manage CRDN claims, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and excellent customer service.
- Schedule appointments with policyholders and contractors.
- Oversee CRDN jobs on the production floor, ensuring quality standards and timely completion.
Plant Operations
- Provide supervision and leadership to the plant, including directing and controlling all day-to-day operations, maintenance, and labor planning.
- Ensure compliance with applicable business, environmental, and safety requirements.
- Maintain adequate manpower, materials, parts, tools, equipment, and support services for safe and efficient plant operation.
- Oversee all aspects of plant performance, including:
- Meeting production targets.
- Maintaining a competent and well-trained staff.
- Ensuring equipment is maintained, including mechanical, electrical, instruments, and controls.
- Purchasing and disbursing required materials and services.
- Manage all route operations, including driver and vehicle management.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Strong technical background with demonstrated experience and knowledge in methods, practices, tools, and materials used in linen, dry cleaning, and restoration operations.
- Familiarity with computerized systems; SPOT and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Excellent listening, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Initiative and autonomy, with minimal supervision required.
- Minimum five years of dry cleaning/linen industry experience or equivalent industrial experience, including at least three years of management/leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
