Optician

Berkeley Eye Center, A vision care leader for over 60 years continues to grow in Wharton, Texas! We are excited about this opportunity and looking for experienced staff to insure excellent vision care and customer service for our patients.

Our current openings include the need for an experienced Optician/Frame stylist.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years' experience assisting patients with optical wear needs including frame styling, lens selection and minor repairs to glasses. Contacts Lens I & R experience helpful.

No lab work is required for this position.

Besides in-depth knowledge of lens and frames we expect our opticians to be professional (both in appearance and service), friendly, & reliable.

The Wharton office schedule is Monday through Friday. No late nights no weekends. From time-to-time employees may be asked to cover locations in the general area. Travel may be required during the training period.

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
