Job Description

The Berkeley Therapy Institute (BTI), a nonprofit, multi-disciplinary mental health clinic established in 1972, has an available psychiatric practice opportunity in Berkeley, CA.

The institute serves a diverse range of clients from the Bay Area community. We are contracted with nearly all major insurance carriers. Being a multi-disciplinary practice provides ample opportunities for collaboration and case consultation with our staff psychologists and psychotherapists. Psychiatrists at BTI have flexible schedules and may choose to see their patients for medication management, psychotherapy or both.

The Berkeley Therapy Institute provides a broad range of mental health services to the community, including the following: • Individual Psychotherapy • Group Psychotherapy • Family and Couples Therapy • Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment • Psychological and Neuropsychological Assessment • Forensic/Legal Consultation and Evaluation.
