Responsibilities
The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that help Berkley Reinsurance America make data-driven decisions. They will analyze complex data sets to identify trends and create data models that support efficient reporting and analysis. Key functions include but are not limited to:
- Collect and maintain business intelligence requirements.
- Develop and implement Business Intelligence Solutions using Microsoft technology stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI).
- Able to communicate with end users and technical teams to understand business requirements.
- Optimize and standardize Business Intelligence solutions employed at BRAM.
Qualifications
- Four-year undergraduate degree (minimum).
- 2 years working in insurance or reinsurance related IT occupation.
- 2 years development experience using Microsoft Technology Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI).
- Thorough knowledge of SQL server and Transact SQL.
- Understand data modeling, data schemas, (normalization, denormalization, flat, star, and snowflake).
- Knowledgeable regarding query performance and query optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud-based solutions is an added plus.
