Duties/Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and oversee comprehensive SEO strategies for all clients, tailored to their unique goals and drive traffic to their website.
- Implement strategies and conduct research that improves keyword rankings, search engine traffic, and overall online visibility.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align efforts with high-quality, SEO-friendly content, social, and paid marketing campaigns.
Innovation & Thought Leadership
- Stay abreast of emerging SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates (including Google E-E-A-T, Bing SEO, and Google Core Web Vitals).
- Understand and apply advanced on-page and off-page SEO concepts, including cosine similarity, schema markup, link building, meta tags and technical SEO, to drive cutting-edge performance.
- Keep up with developments in AI and AIO and algorithm updates, understanding their impact on SEO, search engine results pages (SERPs), and content optimization to ensure the strategies remain effective.
- Work closely with the web development team to ensure website structure, navigation, and technical SEO elements are optimized for search engines.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on SEO best practices and strategies.
Client-Focused Excellence
- Lead presentations and communicate complex SEO concepts clearly and effectively to clients.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client goals, providing tailored strategies and data-driven recommendations.
- Regularly monitor, analyze and report on website performance using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Majestic, and DemandSphere, providing clear insights on key metrics.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring the following skills and expertise:
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on SEO experience, developing and managing successful SEO strategies, preferably in the legal industry or professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools, including SEMRush, Majestic, Moz, Screaming Frog, and DemandSphere.
- HubSpot experience for managing client relationships
- A high-level understanding of SEO techniques, including on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, and local SEO.
- Expertise in cosine similarity, schema markup, content optimization, and handling Google’s Helpful Content Update.
- Deep understanding of Google Core Web Vitals, E-E-A-T updates, and Bing SEO.
- A forward-thinking mindset with strong knowledge of AI and its impact on SEO and SERPs.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to successfully lead teams and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to analyze SEO performance, interpret data, provide actionable insights, and adapt strategies for continuous improvement.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
