Best Value Technology, Inc. (BVTI) is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), who is seeking to identify a Training Coordinator. The successful candidate will oversee training event coordination and correspondence which will include answering and responding to incoming calls and emails, assisting the customer with administration and course coordination activities. Other duties include management of learner enrollment systems and publishing upcoming course and learning event information for our customer, providing support to ensure the continual integrity of the facility's event calendar, and preparing for and interacting with internal support teams and customer team. This position requires exceptional communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact daily with onsite customer training team.
- Answer incoming calls related to training events, respond to caller inquiries, and direct calls as appropriate.
- Assist in the setup and coordination of trainings, conferences and events (i.e. communicating with event point of contacts, overseeing the set up and tear down process of events, assisting in event check-in, as well as briefing guests on facility and security protocols).
- Assist with various administrative duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
- Provide escorts of uncleared instructors as needed.
- Manage learner enrollment and issuing credit in customer training system for all courses and learning events (registration, cancellations, manage rosters, issue credit for attendance).
- Maintain, update and send welcome emails to course/learning event participants (includes learning objectives and logistical information).
- Creation of course/offering codes for upcoming courses/learning events.
- Post course communications to include distribution of materials, surveys etc.
- Assist with logistical details for large trainings to include both virtual and in-person training events.
- Provide support to industry partners and government customers concerning issues and questions regarding basic application functions and processes while in attendance.
- Create and distribute welcome packets for training attendees.
- Assist facility security with the reception, packing and destruction of training materials.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent customer service, organizational skills, and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible and readily available to adapt to change, including changes in processes, requirements and priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and possess willingness to learn other software programs as required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate Degree preferred.
- 2 years of administrative or customer service helpdesk experience.
- 1 years of business management experience writing clear and concise reports, memorandum directives, letters, etc.
