What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Night Auditor position at Best Western Plus?
MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE FOR TRAINING. This is a part-time position for a hotel that prides itself on long-term, friendly service provided by professional and prudent employees who really enjoy the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests on the phone and in person.
- Greet, register, and make room assignments for guests.
- Monitor room availability and maintain guest accounts.
- Using strong analytical and mathematical skills to find discrepancies and make corrections.
- Verify departure and arrival reports. Updates guest and room status, as necessary.
- Completes detailed "Bucket Check" by verifying all information on guest folio and computer record are accurate and uniform including name, departure date, room, and tax rate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements include:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to make guests feel welcome.
- Previous related experience. Hotel and/or Night Audit experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required to work nights and holidays
- Handle guest(s) objections with compassion and good judgment.
- Ability to stay calm and handle emergencies.
