PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Verify patient Insurance;
- Schedule patient appointments;
- Confirm appointments by phone;
- Distribute patient satisfaction surveys as directed;
- Arrange patient transportation as necessary;
- Inform Nursing staff of WALKINS (Triage);
- To provide administrative support duties for patient care e.g. abnormal letters, no-show letters where applicable;
- To provide translation during patient visits;
- To make referral appointments to specialties as requested;
- Register patients for all specialty appointments;
- Handle miscellaneous patient information (lab check in, general information, forms, questions etc);
- Distribute patient metro cards as needed;
- Back –up for new patient registration;
- Other responsibilities are needed
