Job Responsibilities
- Accurately input financial transactions and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Manage the organization and filing of accounting documents, ensuring proper record retention and accessibility.
- Perform general clerical duties, including basic bookkeeping tasks, account reconciliation, and data validation.
- Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers to track and manage job costing and expense reporting for construction projects.
- Attend ongoing training and development sessions to stay current with industry practices and accounting software updates.
- Provide administrative support for compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or associate degree in accounting or business.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, Word, etc).
