Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and developing strategic plans to enhance our market presence. An interest in commercial real estate, facilities services, and project management are essential. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and project management, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively and manage customer relationships.
The listed salary is the base salary. Commissions can provide for a salary between $55,000 and $95,000 per year.
We are looking for a self starter who loves meeting new people and expanding their network to achieve sales goals. This individual should be comfortable working cross functionally with an Operations Department as well as autonomously managing a sales pipeline.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize internal CRM and other software tools for customer relationship management and tracking sales activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and client delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Prepare reports on business development activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Experience
- Proven experience in sales or business development
- Preferred-Sales experience in facilities services industry
- Preferred- Sales experience in commercial real estate
- General knowledge of CRM process and sales pipelines
- Familiarity with social media marketing
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
- Experience in project management with a focus on delivering results within deadlines.
- Familiarity with market analysis techniques and strategic planning processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- A track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
