As a housekeeping supervisor you'll be responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff reporting to the director. You should also be familiar with the care and cleaning requirements for various types of flooring and equipment in addition to general housekeeping methods and cleaning supplies.
With patience and a calm demeanor, you treat those you care for just the way you would want your own family members treated. You go home each day feeling good about the positive impact you have made in the lives of so many in your community.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
- Previous management experience
- Previous housekeeping experience in a long term care facility
