Summary/Objective

The Store Director position is accountable for their location’s overall operation. This role is ultimately responsible for the leadership of teammates, the customer’s experience through service, beverage and food, and the profitability of their unit. Essential Functions

  1. Accountable for all aspects of performance of their location.

  2. Accountable for the guest experience. This includes ensuring the restaurant is being opened and closed with the highest of standards and that your guests have a great experience from the moment they walk in until the moment they walk out the door. We do not compromise the guest’s experience.

  3. Communication and coaching with your full team. This role is accountable for the upholding of our hospitality standards, core values and expectations. Set expectations and give direction daily to your team through effective communication. Set them up for success.

  4. Event Support. Have full understanding of events and the ability to run any event.

  5. Lead location leadership meetings. Discuss issues effectively and with care, and provide experience, insights and ideas to help Big Grove and the team constantly improve. Complete all tasks assigned from those meetings timely.

  6. People management. Use our people and performance tools to effectively communicate, manage, check in, support and follow through with the team. Any employee issues should be handled immediately.

  7. Leader development: Responsible for developing, growing and refining leaders on your L10 team through continuous training, coaching and mentorship.

  8. Accountable for Financial Performance of the unit.. Effectively manage COGS, inventories and labor cost. Implement marketing programs to drive Taproom traffic and increase revenue.

  9. Foster a cohesive and productive working environment through strong cross-departmental communication and collaboration among teams

  10. Maintain pristine facilities and routinely pass monthly store audits

Supervisory Responsibility

Accountable for the full staff in location.

Work Environment

This position operates in a hospitality/ brewery environment. This role routinely uses cleaning supplies and point of sale terminal systems.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work (45-50 hours/wk)

This is a full-time position and hours of work/ days may vary from week to week. Hours expected to be worked are between 45-50 per week. The business is open 7 days a week during many day parts. Evening and weekends are a requirement.

Travel

Travel may be expected occasionally in this position.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Must have 5 years of proven success in a high volume, restaurant environment in an upper management role.

  2. A passion for the restaurant and brewing industry and an unwavering commitment to deliver relentless hospitality.

  3. Strong ability to analyze data, diagnose issues and coach the team accordingly.

  4. Exceptional people management skills, including resolving conflict, coaching and developing, promoting teamwork, and performance management. Ability to build and motivate high performing teams.

  5. Strong business acumen and proven track record in leading operations to meet sales and profitability objectives

  6. Willingness to learn and accommodate industry changes and company directives

  7. Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

  8. Must understand restaurant software systems; Toast, Toast Tables, Kickfin, Sling, etc.

Salary : $52,500 - $72,500
