What We’re Looking For: Manufacturing experience (preference for pet food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods) A proven track record of good attendance and consistent performance delivering consistent safety and quality Capability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions with diverse employees Must be willing to be on shift (12-hour 2-2-3 shift rotation, fixed days or nights) Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company Safety Rules & GMP’s Able to operate, perform basic physical activities: climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms, and various equipment Capability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents Mechanical interest and operational skills Able to learn new systems, record operational data and communicate results Track quality and waste metrics Emphasis on sanitation/cleaning Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently Ability to work occasional flexible hours and overtime based on company/volume needs Ability to stand on a concrete floor 12 hours per day Reaching, bending, and twisting frequently Willingness to flow to the work to meet the needs of the business Education High School Diploma or GED required Why Smucker is the Place for You You deserve a positive and encouraging work environment.
