Job Title: Project Manager / Superintendent (Construction Manager)

Location: Newport Beach, CA

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 base benefits

The Project Manager / Superintendent will lead construction projects from initial planning through to completion. This role is responsible for on-site operations, including managing subcontractors, ensuring safety, maintaining schedules, and delivering the project within budget. A proactive problem solver, this person will represent the company to clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.

• Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the construction project, from planning and execution to completion. Ensure site safety, security, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Schedule and Budget Management: Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules as needed. Ensure projects are completed within the designated budget, handling any required changes.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals. Ensure subcontractors have adequate workforce and resources to meet project timelines.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, explaining project plans, contract terms, and any scope changes using an emotionally intelligent approach to maintain positive client relationships from inception to completion of the project.
• Documentation: Manage project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and delay logs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work adheres to the company’s quality standards and meets client expectations.

• Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager or Superintendent, ideally with experience in high-quality production homes or luxury custom residential construction.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead on-site teams, resolve issues proactively, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors effectively.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in interpreting blueprints and contract terms, with a solid understanding of construction processes and best practices.
• Attention to Detail: Able to monitor project details meticulously, ensuring that work aligns with design plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
