Nurse Coordinator - Big Sky (FT- 1 FTE, Variable Shift)

Position Summary: The Big Sky Medical Center Nurse Coordinator has a primary responsibility for registries, accreditation and data analytics for related programs. Monitors program key performance metrics and accreditation requirements. In coordination with the medical directors, and department leadership, monitors quality standards of care, professional documentation, oversight and development of policies and procedures, and program certification. Uses data analytics to promote shared decision making and drives progress and performance improvement. Develops performance improvement initiatives and acts as a resource and facilitates collaboration between all health care disciplines throughout the organization and within the healthcare community. Promotes ongoing development of all staff and for maintaining a professional environment in which all staff can grow and develop. Develops and maintains Stroke and STEMI programs in alignment with Bozeman Health System and National standards. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) American Heart Association BLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience Experience with DNV-GL accreditation Professional experience with data analytics Preferred: Master’s Degree in a healthcare related field Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
