Big Smiles is Hiring an Orthodontic Dental Assistant Near Milford, CT

Seeking a patient-centered Orthodontic Front Office Coordinator who seeks to educate and deliver treatment outcomes that improve patients' oral health. Must be able to work within the culture defined in our office which includes teamwork, collaboration, focus, and a positive and fun environment. The ability to quickly learn office systems and protocols is essential.

The Orthodontic dental assistant is the bridge between the Front Desk and the clinical team. Your knowledge of treatment, insurance, and finance options helps patients get to their goals. The Orthodontic Front Office Coordinator also assists in daily Front Desk tasks to keep the traffic at the Front Desk to a minimum.

· Treatment planning/ financial arrangements- ensuring the insurance is verified and cross-referencing it for cost estimates. Reviewing these costs with patients and documenting how they plan to take care of treatment financially.

· Utilizing family of finance through the 10 Step Finance process to allow patient access to care.

· Collecting for services per policy and procedure.

· Collecting down payments to reserve major treatment.

· Following up with all patients that did not say yes to their treatment with a consistent timeline such as 2 day, 2 weeks and 2 months.

· Identifying opportunities with Doctor’s schedule each day and maximizing the tool such as Dental Intel to get three case acceptance per ortho day.

Qualifications

· Must have orthodontic knowledge and experience of at least one year.

· Clinical experience a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
