Position Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in guiding our technology strategy in areas like networking, cloud architecture, automation, and development. This role requires a blend of expertise in traditional and modern methodologies, with a focus on troubleshooting, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical research and innovation in global technology platforms, with an emphasis on web specialties such as site reliability, security, and performance.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain cloud-based infrastructures, particularly in Microsoft Azure and AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Manage network and system security, proactively responding to and resolving performance issues.
• Database administration – SQL Server, Azure SQL Instances, MySQL
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Travis CI, Bitbucket along with cloud data management tools like Azure Data Factory and Data Lakes.
• Build and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog, and Splunk.
• System administration across Windows and Linux environments and managing network infrastructures.
• Work with web development technologies including PHP, MySQL, C#, and Python, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Adhere strictly to compliance regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) financial guidelines and GDPR data protection standards, ensuring all technological processes and data handling meet these critical legal requirements.
• Engage in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of technology infrastructure.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a DevOps, site reliability engineering, or similar role.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and networking preferred.
• Experience in an enterprise or cross-divisional business unit model is beneficial.

Required Skills:

• Clear understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates).
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Proficiency in web development languages like Python, PHP, C#, and familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL).
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, Active Directory, and IT security best practices.
