Bird's Eye Medical is Hiring a Staffing Scheduler Near Tumwater, WA

Brief Overview:

Bird’s Eye Medical is looking for an experienced scheduler to join our fast-paced and quickly growing company. We are a mission-based organization that seeks to fill gaps in healthcare access, with our current efforts primarily focused on the Covid-19 response. You will be a good fit for this position if you are flexible, resourceful, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, well organized, and upbeat. You will need to be able to quickly learn new processes and systems, prioritize tasks, and anticipate needs. This is a position with good potential for upward mobility depending on the employee's abilities and attributes.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be able to provide proof of vaccination, no exemptions.


Anticipated Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • TBD

Pay Range:

  • $21 - $24 an hour

Duties:

  • Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy.
  • Drafting emails and making phone calls to staff as needed to fill gaps in the schedule.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
  • Prepare work schedules and enforce compliance with company and industry labor requirements.
  • Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling problems to the Staffing Manager.
  • Maintain the integrity of potentially confidential personal information
  • Effectively prioritize workload
  • Collaborate with hiring team to ensure workflow and process efficiency; assisting in making changes as needed to help support company growth

Education and Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent education is required. An associate degree or above is preferred.

Ability to independently problem-solve and take initiative in creating and implementing new workflows and solutions.

Previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred but not required

NOTE: Employees are REQUIRED to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and must provide proof of vaccination.
