Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a graduate intern for our perioperative services group!

May 2025-May 2026

20 hours per week during school year, and 40 hours per week over the summer. Flexible schedule between 6 am-5 pm!

Role Purpose

The BJC Career Development Intern Program (CDIP) will support the pipeline initiatives of BJC Healthcare. We have a variety of paid internships for both undergraduate and graduate students. Most internship assignments are project-based. As an intern in the career development program students can expect to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. Students must be enrolled in a graduate program. Students will have exposure to a variety of professional experiences:

  • Professional development training and workshops
  • Extensive networking opportunities
  • Interaction with senior leaders
  • A dedicated support network


Responsibilities

  • Navigates project requests using critical thinking skills.
  • Communicates effectively with staff and project leaders.
  • Takes initiative to identify additional work not assigned that enhances the effort with logical next steps.
  • Excels in a team-based environment.
  • Solves problems using creativity and innovation.
