What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - GED Instructor position at Black Hawk College?
Develop individualized educational plan for each student based on current skills and academic goals. Provide individualized and group instruction necessary to prepare students for GED tests.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 semesters documented secondary teaching experience required. ICCB required professional development coursework to meet Standards Proficient Instructor criteria required within two years of initial employment.
All G.E.D. candidates must:
• be able and willing to work with a diverse adult population on all levels;
• demonstrate oral and written English proficiency;
• demonstrate instructional technology proficiency for the classroom.
