The Regional Controller can sit in Salt Lake City, UT or Lexington, KY and typically reports directly to the Controller. This role in conjunction with the Regional Controller will execute projects in accordance with Corporate Policy.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Visit, learn and understand key processes of the Regional Operations
• Understand the elements of the JDE system
• Prepare for and manage meetings with fellow Managers and key staff
• Conduct a thorough ‘Process and Organizational Efficiencies’ review and determine which processes we should stop, start, continue, are surplus and which ones require improvement
• Effectively engage and cross train Accounting and Administration team, creating a seamless operation
• Commit to supporting compliance with the Quality Management System
• Determine, through interactive sessions with Division Managers, the business needs of Accounting
• Use business process and data modelling tools to analyze performance
• Work with Managers, Corporate IT and ERP team to improve business processes and procedures
• Prepare and maintain project deliverables according to ISO certified processes
• Facilitation and leadership skills to organize group learning sessions
• Comply with Human Resources Manager’s Toolkit
• Foster a climate within Accounting and Administration were enthusiasm and morale results in achievement of departmental objectives
• Provide leadership, clearly communicate expectations to employees

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or similar degree

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years experience with organizations whose sales were $30M in the capacity of controller
• Ability to process full accounting cycle up to and including financial statements
• Thorough knowledge of payroll processing both for salary and unionized hourly payroll
• Ability to multi-task and had managed a staff of 4 or more
• An individual who is self-directed and has superior communication skills
• Previous experience in the Construction industry would be an asset
