We are looking for a professional Concierge / Security Guard.
Responsibilities
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbance
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
Skills
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Trained security officer
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- High school degree
Concierge duties and responsibilities
Concierges provide a number of services that guests, residents and workers rely on. Whatever setting they work in, their duties typically include:
- Offering a warm and professional welcome to visitors and entering their details into the visitor log
- Overseeing the safe-keeping of the building’s keys to allow access for maintenance and repairs when necessary
- Contributing to the maintenance of the building by reporting faults or damage to fixtures and fittings
- Overseeing deliveries and signing for packages when required
- Building a network of local contacts to ensure high-quality recommendations
- Acting as a first point of contact for queries and complaints
- Dealing with lost property and locating missing items
- Liaising with housekeeping, cleaning and groundskeeping staff to ensure that safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
