Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or fraudulent activities.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid security officer certification or equivalent military training.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
- Proficient in the use of surveillance systems including CCTV technology.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
