- Manage first shift Cycle Count and 999 Team Members
- Investigate inventory discrepancies
- Communicate/coordinate with customers on cycle count needs
- Log and document all searches and maintain KPIs
- Perform audits (Process, 5S, Standard Work)
- Prepare, train, and confirm standardized work. Modify SWS to suit the consensus condition; escalate any concerns.
- Ensure operators understand TPM checks for the process. Ensure downtime is logged for relevant equipment.
- Monitor processes known to have ongoing quality issues and audit quality key points as part of daily SWS audits. Take part in problem-solving activities to eliminate the top 5 issues.
- Ensure the tracking board is completed, calculate findings, and display them on the Team Board.
- Ensure training records and versatility are up to date, and use SWS audits to check operator on process is fully trained. Ensure operator rotation is controlled to plan.
- Respond to Andon calls and manage the problem, by preventing the issue affecting the customer and containment.
- Record ideas for improvement. Present new issues and feedback to the team on actions due for review.
