Job Title: Housekeeper

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Compensation: $15/hour based on experience

Job Summary

Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire resort with an attention to detail. Housekeepers work diligently to clean all guest rooms on a daily basis, while ensuring timelines are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

§ Provide excellent and consistent cleaning service to all guests during the shift, while being an independent worker

§ Clean guest rooms to four star standards with the upmost attention to detail

§ Maintain good time management by completing tasks with a sense of urgency at all times

§ Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms, as well as company and guest property

§ Consistently ensure all furniture and guest room materials are in proper location, report damage immediately

§ Actively follow safety and security procedures

§ Recognize and dispatch any maintenance items or safety hazards to the appropriate team member

§ Assist guests with questions and requests when approached by being aware of events and activities available at the resort

Requirements

§ Exceptional attention to detail

§ Professional and courteous verbal communication skills

§ Ability to accurately and efficiently report information

§ Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance and work environment at all times

§ Physical stamina and mobility, including ability to lift, reach, kneel, and/or bend for up to eight hours a day

§ Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

§ 1 years of cleaning experience. Experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
