Bloom is currently in search of a talented and motivated junior-level Architect to become a part of our expanding architectural department. • Ability to develop electronic drawings, providing solutions both conceptual and technical
• Assists in research and coordination of materials and product for project specifications
• Experience coordinating and integrating engineering elements and consultant work into a unified set of design documents
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with Director of Architecture, project managers and other team members
• Self-starting with strong work ethic, time management and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects
• Experience with building codes, zoning ordinances, and generally knowledgeable in jurisdictional processes
• Participate in activities that strengthen our company culture, knowledge base, and capabilities
• Commitment to challenging yourself to constantly improve and keep learning
• Team player willing to accept a full range of responsibilities
• Demonstrated interest and progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.
• Experience with public project delivery process- CDB (Illinois) and/or DFD (Wisconsin) is preferred.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, Sketch-Up, and other modeling and rendering software
• Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and professional commitment
• Design & creative talent with confidence to take design initiative
• Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality and attention to detail

Compensation -Commensurate with experience
