Job Description:
College degree with coursework in information systems, business, engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Formal training in project management strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of eight years progressively responsible experience in information systems, including five years of experience managing mid-sized projects required. Experience with product design and/or system software practices in use at Bloomberg Industry Group is strongly desirable.

Job Description:
- Demonstrated exceptional project management skills. Ability to manage projects and supervise people in the most complex projects. Strong knowledge of scheduling and organizing projects and use of Project Management software applications, such as MS Project.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and conflict resolution techniques, recognizing which issues should be escalated to higher levels for resolution.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
- Current knowledge of information technology resources applicable to Bloomberg Industry Group’s business environment, including hardware, software, utilities, techniques, etc.
- Strong knowledge of electronic product and/or systems development and implementation methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge of all stages of the systems and/or product design and software development life cycles.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills as necessary to communicate, negotiate, advice, or resolve issues that are highly complex including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting analysis and cost control practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide timely and effective support to users and first line support staff on highly complex problems involving multiple systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze the requirements of systems. Ability to function as technical contributor and internal consultant on projects.
