Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Process patient information, including insurance details and medical coding when necessary.
- Answer incoming calls, address inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
- Perform office management tasks, such as filing, data entry, and reviewing documentation.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and enhance the overall patient experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred; experience with Open Dental software is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental coding is helpful.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients.
- Proficiency in typing and using office software applications is required.
