Audiovisual Operator
Must be able to pass government background clearance
Audiovisual Operator, will provide onsite AV technicians to support approximately 25 rooms
- The Audiovisual Operator’s job responsibilities will include the following high-level assignments:
- set-up, test and operate a variety of audiovisual equipment
- operate electronic presentation devices, video projectors, video cameras, video recorders, video editing equipment, recording and duplication equipment, audio reinforcement equipment, video switchers, digital video effects devices and audio mixers.
- edit video (Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier) and do multimedia conversions for streaming Video on Demand (VOD) and placement of video on Distance Learning (DL) platforms.
- perform trouble-shooting and minor repairs on AV equipment. This will include operational menu settings, bulb and fuse replacement, and other modular components replacement
- operate digital photographic cameras (Nikon 750) to photograph lectures, panel discussions, VIP visits, and other special events.
- take a variety of photos of the entire event, capturing major moments, i.e. guest speaker, dignitaries, award presentations.
- make prints using in-house photo DS printers.
- operate Livestream/Vimeo video streaming systems for guest lectures in auditoriums, collaborative staff meetings, or seminars with distant participants.
