Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)- Quality Assurance Coordinator
Blue Sea is looking for a skilled and experienced Behavior Analyst to play a crucial role in our evaluation team. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise and administrative skills, focusing on supporting our evaluators, reviewing assessments, quality assurance, conducting assessments, developing intervention goals, and training evaluators in documentation reporting.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be familiar with interventions across a variety of disorders, such as Autism, ADHD and Intellectual disabilities. They work collaboratively with our evaluators, management team and school districts to ensure a comprehensive assessment is completed.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform quality assurance checks and ensure adherence to standards of care in documentation and reporting
- Participates actively in providing professional growth opportunities such as staff trainings and clinical support to the evaluation team
- Provide oversight and quality assurance on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
- Ensures integrity of program implementation and evaluation regulations
- Monitors timelines and due dates of evaluations
- Analyzes data and create graphs for visual and analysis of data
- Develops the behavioral/clinical skill sets for a team of evaluators
- Review completed FBA’s to ensure written report is up to standard
- Provides feedback on appropriate behavior intervention strategies
- Stay updated with best practices in autism care and ABA principles
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- A minimum of a master’s degree in a related field is required
- Must be a current Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and/or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Prior supervisory experience overseeing a team of ABA staff is preferred
- Strong Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and clinical skills
- Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and preparing high-quality reports
- Self-disciplined: Able to schedule and attend to duties as necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Reside in Nassau or Suffolk County
- Have your own reliable transportation
