Before working directly with client services, Entry Level Account Managers will have access to entry-level training that prepares them to answer potential questions, troubleshoot topics, and suggest alternative service options. Responsibilities of an Entry Level Account Manager:
- Use direct communication to secure new customers, achieve outreach goals, and complete sales metrics
- Build a positive image and representation of the client brand by providing informative customer service before, during, and after the sales process
- Develop an understanding of the local market region to generate more relevant marketing and sales strategies for client products
- Work with the sales team and other Entry Level Account Managers to determine how client qualifications and protocols can be adequately conveyed to the local community
- Utilize entry-level training on sales, customer service, client expectations, and business metrics to generate new opportunities for the client successfully
- Analyze sales results to identify patterns, track market preferences, and better assist customer service and marketing strategies
Qualifications for a Successful Entry Level Account Manager:
- A high school diploma or equivalency is required
- An Associate's degree or two-year program certification is encouraged
- Previous knowledge of customer service, sales, business, management, or leadership is encouraged
- Ability to properly communicate the benefits and elements of client services during sales, given the proper entry-level training for Entry Level Account Managers
- Reliability in time management to follow training schedules and achieve planned goals for marketing, product visibility, sales, and customer service
- Friendly and professional demeanor when working with customers, management, and other Entry Level Account Managers
