Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team at Blue Spirits Distilling and play a key role in producing and packaging high-quality spirits. As a Distillery Production and Operations Team Member, you will support various aspects of the production process, including preparation, manufacturing, and staging of products. This role is integral to ensuring smooth operations and maintaining the quality standards that our customers trust and enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Product Preparation and Staging: Assist in preparing and staging raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies to support production schedules. This includes organizing materials efficiently and ensuring their availability for seamless operations. * Production and Packaging: Actively participate in the production and packaging of spirits, including filling, labeling, sealing, and boxing products. Maintain strict adherence to quality standards throughout the process. * Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of production equipment, such as bottling lines, labelers, and mixers, with precision and care to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. * General Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently. Notify management promptly of any issues requiring repairs or replacement. * Heavy Lifting and Physical Labor: Regularly lift and carry items exceeding 25 pounds multiple times throughout the workday. Tasks may also involve prolonged periods of standing (3-4 hours continuously), bending, and repetitive motions. * Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies within the facility. Ensure compliance with safety protocols. * Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with regulatory standards for alcohol production and packaging. * Collaboration and Flexibility: Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Be flexible with scheduling, including occasional overtime, to accommodate fluctuating order volumes and operational demands.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods. * Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with operating and maintaining production equipment is preferred. Willingness to learn and adapt to new machinery is essential. * Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety guidelines. * Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills to contribute to a positive team environment. * Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work overtime and adapt to changing schedules based on production needs. * Forklift Certification: Previous forklift experience or certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.

Pay

• $18 - $23 / hour DoE

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $18.00 - $23.00/hour.
