PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizes and leads activities of children: rising 2nd through 8th grade
- Supervises children’s play, ensuring physical safety
- Guides children’s behavior and social development
- Maintains a safe, clean, appealing environment
- Performs simple first aid in emergencies
- Leads in daily devotions with campers
- Impacts campers' lives for Christ
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
- Observant, active, and able to use sound judgment and initiative
- Willing to accept responsibility and work cooperatively with others
- Patient and understanding
- Able to create, organize, and lead a variety of activities that encourage campers to use and develop a variety of their abilities
- Able to relate well to children and their parents
- Adequate physical stamina
- Must be 18 years of age and graduated from high school prior to starting work
